It looks pretty solid, don’t think that it’s going to fall apart. The cup is made of solid piece of aluminum. Cons: Very sensitive with magnetic fields. The glass appears very fragile. Need a very horizontal place to read it Overall: Good and reliable product. Whenever i got this compass i know where i am at. Its recommended to have when you are driving with out GPS Navigation. I love this compass and planning on buying more for friends Cons: No conts, haven't seen anything wrong with it yet, for the money that you  get this compass, i won't say anything bad about this compass because really there is nothing bad to say about it. Overall: I love this compass and most likely i order more soon, for that price its worth every penny. Overall this is really recommended when you go out. Go for it buy it.
